No more paying of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.symantec.com\/ssl-certificates\/\">ridiculous<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thawte.com\/ssl\/\">amounts<\/a> for a simple SSL certificate. Yearly.<\/p>\n<p>The process is still somewhat rough on the edges now. I expect it to get better when it goes 1.0. There&#8217;s another important thing to note when you&#8217;re using using certificates from Let&#8217;s Encrypt. In the interest of transparency, they publish the <a href=\"https:\/\/crt.sh\/?Identity=%25&#038;iCAID=7395\">list of certificates<\/a> issued by them.
